George is EMC's concert style band designed for those students with varying playing experiences, abilities and wish to be challenged. This ensemble allows Campers to work on the finer details of playing. Guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience!

All Band Campers at EMC participate in Jazz Ensembles that correspond with their daily band programs. The addition of guitars, keyboard, drum kit and vocalists allows for the performance of a wide variety of jazz styles. There is also an open audition Honours Jazz Ensemble for those students interested in top-level challenging repertoire.

The Choral / Musical Theatre component ranges in ability from the beginner to the advanced vocalist and encompasses all ages. Along with performing some traditional style choir pieces, this group also performs a spectacular version of a musical that is not to be missed. Some examples of previous shows include 'Cats', 'The Lion King', 'Momma Mia' and 'Annie'!

The Piano component of EMC has evolved into a group keyboard experience thanks to the generous support of Reid Music and the Yamaha Company of Canada. In addition, other daily musical activities are organized to correspond with the playing levels of those enrolled.

In addition to their respective Band and Jazz programs, percussion students receive group instruction to expand their knowledge of drumming techniques. Age and level appropriate in a unique camp setting.

Designed for the 6 to 8 year old age group, this program offers young Campers the chance to participate on a part-time basis, i.e. mornings only. Instruction will include piano, voice & general music activities, all tailored to match the levels of those Campers registered. Campers ages 6 to 8 who wish to participate more fully may register for the full-day Camp.

Designed to appeal to all playing levels, this program will offer guitar Campers the opportunity to receive group instruction as well as participate in a rock band situation. Theory and technique will be taught along with the repertoire for the two weeks.

The Creative Dance component is designed to meet the needs of all ages and all levels, this program will complement the Choral program, also included will be rehearsals for a "dance only" selection to be presented at the Friday Grand Finale Concert.
